The Weekend

Retrouvaille Weekends are not spiritual retreats, sensitivity groups, seminars, or social gatherings, nor will you receive counseling during the program. You will not be required to share your personal struggles with anyone.

Retrouvaille is a community of couples at various stages of marriage, all of whom have faced challenges in their relationships. You will meet couples dealing with issues such as drifting apart, infidelity, conflict and anger, poor communication, abuse, addiction, and other obstacles to a strong marriage.

What all these couples share is a deep desire to restore joy to their marriages. Connecting with others who are facing similar struggles can be profoundly impactful. It offers hope during times when hope may seem hard to find. Every marriage is worth saving, and Retrouvaille can help.

The Retrouvaille program begins with a weekend experience, offering a break from the distractions of everyday life. You’ll learn how to re-establish communication and gain fresh insights into both your individual selves and your relationship as a couple.

A team consisting of three couples and a priest delivers a series of presentations. All the presenting couples have personally experienced the challenges of disillusionment and pain in their own marriages. They offer hope by sharing their struggles, pain, and successes in rebuilding their relationships. You will be encouraged to leave the past behind and begin rediscovering each other.

The team introduces a communication technique that allows you to take a close look at many aspects of your relationship. They provide practical tools for improving your marriage and share how they benefited from these techniques in their own journeys.

A registration fee is required to confirm your reservation, as well as food and lodging.  Due to limited capacity, early

registration is encouraged. During the weekend, you will be invited to make a donation, which will cover all expenses for the weekend and entire program.

No couple will ever be denied the opportunity to heal their marriage due to financial hardship.
